I bought this M1A1 to compliment my Colt 1911 order and a sling was thrown in. It put together easy and felt very well made even for plastic stock and handgaurds. I was very excited with the finished product. Since the slings are made for AR clip rings you can’t use the hooks NO PROBLEM just remove the hooks and slide the slings metal rings through the holes on The Thompson and you’re good to go. I live the look of it even as I gaze at it on my shelf I’m instantly reminded of Captain Millers weapon in the movie Saving Private Ryan and my grandfather served in WWII so I was very happy to have this piece of history mini added to my collection. A must have for any WWII buff. I highly recommend purchasing this with your 1911 Timeless or complimenting your 1911 with this piece. John Browning would be proud.
Love your 45 automatic. Wish you could have gotten Colt to allow you to use their name and logo.
This is a great little Model. Very detailed. My only problem was that there was a problem fitting some of the pieces and required some filing to make things fit. They did not quite line up. Not a difficult thing to do and it had no affect on the final assembly. Just took a little extra time if you have small, fine, files. Despite that, I still gave it a 5 star rating because the end product is great.
