It was a bit tight when inserting it into the barrel. Had to do a little twisting. I'm not planning on removing it, and it looks really good with it all put together. The bore hole is smaller than the pin on the original 1911 stand, so you won't be able to mount it the same way as without the suppressor. The stand is small anyway, when the suppressor is attached. You'll want a better display option. mine is on the collectibles shelf, and leaning partially against the wall.

The insert for attaching this to the barrel of the 1911 is too large and requires an enormous amount of force to get it into the barrel. Looks great, of course but fitment is an annoyance.
